The Teenage Dreams Of Lauren Hamami (March 2015)
by Lauren Hamami

Dreamt that I was at a shopping mall. There was a young couple with a child. The child wanted to sit next ot me on the bench that I was on. She got up there and we talked for a bit. Then she turned around and sat on the railing. I was frightened, I thought she might lose her balance and fall. I said "oh please get down!" as I turned my head away and squeezed my eyes shut but the time I had turned back to look at her, she was gone. She dropped to the floor and into an Old Navy display window. She transformed into a tiny eraserhead-like baby. No bigger than a kidney bean. She was bloody everywhere, like she had just been birthed. She was unconscious and too small to find a pulse from. So, I announced to the parents that we had to take her to the hospital immediately. They didn't say a word, just smiled lightly. I started getting really worked up because no one there took this little life seriously. I held her close and rocked her and said "it's OK, everything's going to be alright." Suddenly, she grew into a baby the size of a full peanut. Her facial features were becoming distinguishable. The blood was gone. Her lips opened as she wiggled slightly. She said "mama" and I cried joyously. I found her parents to give them back their baby. They didn't acknowledge it. I said...you don't want her...do you? They said "no, but we'd love to have sex with you and your mom to thank you for what you did." I let them know that wouldn't be necessary.
