Bunny Blight (March 2016)
by Andrew Barranca

I'm elated and fatigued, Mouse.

When they are happy I'm happy. When they rest I rest,
But when they are crying I feel like a useless butler. I'm just serving them random offerings until they're appeased.

When do they start occupying themselves?

They are taking in everything. Everything tangible, everything psychic. We've passed on all of our experiences through genetic information, how they sort through all of it will be up to them.

Babies are so precious when they're sleeping. It is hard to believe they can even be difficult when their bodies are in a peaceful slumber. I feel like when they open their eyes it is the world that corrupts them. Like their perfect little souls would just stay perfectly content if the stimuli of this world was never introduced to them.
