The Teenage Dreams Of Lauren Hamami
by Lauren Hamami
Walking around corner with black male and female. I resisted eye contact but asked how they were, they said "Good" and walked with me up to group. As soon as we approached the group the two "friends" said "OK, bye...go on" and I obeyed them and walked in the other direction, as I recognized that I was not welcomed. Walked into a church where I sat in center pew. I asked the young pastor what he drank in the mornings. He was going on with some answer while two guys in their 20s were behind him shyly asking "um...can we go?" I scream at the top of my lungs "YOU CAN LEAVE CHURCH WHENEVER YOU WANT TO!"
